History of CEO:
Mr. Ernest Rabotte' is an extraordinary man with an incredible life story he is the Founder & CEO of "The Dream Machine Boxing Ring.". Ernest was born and raised in Houston,Texas, and due to abuse and difficulties of living at home, he left home at the early age of twelve. He left home with nothing, traveling around the country while being homeless with no direction. In 1975, Ernest arrived in Hollywood, California and started pursing his dream of becoming a professional boxer.In 1979, he became a professional middleweight boxer, which lasted about ten years. In 1989,after Ernest son died violently, he fell into depression, addiction, and homelessness. He was homeless in Los Angeles, California in an area known as Skid Row, for about fourteen years. On May 3,2003, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, and entered into a drug recovery program, He has been clean and sober since entering into the recovery program,. he has been a member of New City Church since 2008, in Los Angeles, California he serves as the leader of the Safety Ministry,and a Grow and Serve Group, and also serve as a Elder in the church.
Purpose for The Dream Machine Boxing Ring:
Ernest Rabotte' started working on his dream of starting a Non-Profit Organization in Downtown LA,, in the Skid Row area in 2007. In 2010, "The Dream Machine Boxing Ring" became a Non-Profit Organization in the Skid Row area, and he began helping at risk youths that were in the surrounding area.His purpose was to give back in an effort to help the youths in his community, which may be going through challenges in their home as he did. He wanted to help youths that were being affected by abuse and neglect in their homes at the hands of their parent(s) or guardian in which he encountered as a child. His hope was to be able to make a difference in their life, and show them that they can dream big and go on to do great things in life,also ensuring them they are not alone,and there are people out there that cares, He wanted the gym to be available for all youths that needed or in need of a positive outlet for change.The gym is not just for boxing, it's for fitness and team building as well, and for them to feel good about themselves..
